FREELANCE DESIGNER (FREELANCE/TEMP TO PERM)

YOU
Jolly good designer person who’s visually fresh, slick, quick and able to handle big projects, concepts and think off and online. Fluency in all the standard design packages a must – as is a better taste in music than the CD.

US
Jolly nice creative agency based in Cobham Surrey with big ambitions. Our lovely clients expect great thinking, gorgeous work and faultless delivery (oh, and sandwiches with the crusts cut off).

CREATIVE ARTWORKER (FREELANCE/TEMP TO PERM)

YOU
Flexible, fast and all-round jolly good egg who is able to interpret designs into brochureware, ads and origami (okay so we’re not exactly overrun with origami projects, but you get the drift). Being deeply organised and with a pin sharp eye for detail is definitely desirable. Knowledge of digital design disciplines is pretty cool too,

US
Jolly nice creative agency based in Cobham Surrey with big ambitions and some lovely clients working in all media.

FREELANCE DIGITAL DESIGNER (FREELANCE/TEMP TO PERM)

YOU
Will be Matt’s right hand. You will know almost as much as him about absolutely everything. In return he will teach you the ways of the Jedi, the Matrix and our server who is called Dave.

US
Jolly nice creative agency based in Cobham Surrey with big ambitions and some lovely clients working in all media.

The importance of the from field

Friday, November 20th, 2009

We found an interesting article via our updates from netimperative today, the importance of the from field in your email marketing campaigns.

It’s something that is very often overlooked or not given much thought, how many emails do you receive from ‘company‘ with their latest news or offers? Would you be more inclined to read further rather than dismissing it as this weeks junk if you have a more personal link with the sender?

Using an example B2B newsletter, the recipient list was split in half, one half receiving the email from their account manager the other from the company.

The results showed 62% opened and 24% clicked when mail was sent from the account handler, while only 21% opened and 3% clicked when the message was sent out as the company.

Blood sweat and beers – The Great South Run

Serious Great South Run

We seem to be missing Scott, Anna and Chris here...

On Sunday we took part in the Great South Run for our chosen charity, The Royal Marsden Cancer Campaign – we’d all put in the training and we all made it, so it must have paid off.

10 miles is a pretty tough run but we all had a fantastic time and really enjoyed ourselves, perhaps foolishly we are now planning our next challenge!

We do have a group justgiving account so if anyone would like to donate to this very worthy charity and give us some more motivation to enter more events you can find us here: http://www.justgiving.com/seriousideas/

Chris have you been writing freelance again?

This is just here as a reminder

Wednesday, July 29th, 2009

I wanted to post this as a clear reminder of the day Scott challenged me to a fight in the car park. This is what I sent as a warning!

I’ll also leave this here as a warning – this is what will happen if any more of the hard work spent on our website gets covered over by bloody clouds!!!
