BRIEF

Hutchison (3G) tasked SERIOUS to promote one of its value tariffs nationally, during Valentine's weekend - a promotionally-saturated period.
 

SOLUTION

Our insight was to find a way to create a conversation with a stranger. The solution was simple - to offer flowers to customers with news about the tariff and information about a suitably romantic prize draw.
 
We imported over 100,000 flowers and distributed to 350 stores nationwide. The project was micro-managed, with full employee engagement, store briefing and deployment of additional promotional staff in key areas.
 

RESULTS

After two weeks activity, our promotion generated a 60% increase in conversion and an incredible £1.5 million uplift in sales. We’re now sharing our experience and talent with other likeminded agencies to help Hutchison (3G) on their latest £3m campaign launching May 2009.
