Truphone
BACKGROUND
Truphone is a telecoms company that uses innovative VOIP technology to provide high-end international mobile calling service at low-prices. In eight years they’ve released a number of smart applications that can be ownloaded onto mobile phones including the I-Phone and Blackberry.
BRIEF
They approached us to conceive and implement the European B2B launch of a new product called TRUPHONE LOCAL ANYWHERE at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
Budgets weren’t huge but, rightly so, the people at Truphone wanted to make a big, big noise.
SOLUTION
And so we obliged, coming up with a simple, compelling thought that demonstrated the product and dramatised its benefits across all customer segments.
Our solution? The spoken word.
We created a series of animated shorts using recorded ‘real life’ testimonials. Different illustration styles were employed to echo each user’s experience. An accompanying leaflet was created to provide greater detail on the product, its features and benefits.
The entire intergrated campaign was conceived, written, designed, shot, recorded, animated and edited in-house in two weeks.
RESULTS
Head of Marketing Jo Patterson, said: “ You guys really helped bring our strategy to life in an innovative way. The quality of work, delivery and attitude has been excellent. From all of us, including the CEO, we are very impressed.” Lucky for us, she wasn’t speechless.
